The Chairman of the Coronation Compittee

His Honour Sir Francis 3 t

Dear Sir,

I beg to thank the Coronation Committee most

heartily for all the favours you have done to our children

during the last week. Besides the Loney we have received like

other schools for our school-girls we were enabled by your

special gift of 850 to make happy all our 130 children during

the 3 Coronation days.

The nice illumination of the whole Institution,

the tea-party and the "Coronation dinner", a walk through the

decorated streets to Cafe Weismann of the elder ones, and a

similar one for the small ones to the Public Gardens, all these

enjoyments were possible by your kind remembrance of our poor

orphans.

The shocolate you kindly have sent to us on

Saturday will help to keep these past days in the memory of the

children for quite a while and the framed address in our school

as well as the badges will make the children remember for ever

the illustrious couple in honour of whom these days were cele-

-brated.

Please receive again, Sir, our heartiest thanks

for all your kindness.

Yours obediently,

(Sd.) Johannes Muller,

Supt., of Berlin Foundling House.
